YouTube

Hey, guys, Lycie here (:

As you can tell, my videos are hosted on YouTube before they're put on the blog. Mostly because Blogger is weird about letting me upload the videos directly to the blog. But I've decided to make a YouTube channel out of the vlog posts that are posted on here, and also a few non-related videos that I make just because.

If you have a YouTube account, you can subscribe to the channel and stay updated on vlog posts that way, too, other than just Facebook. Click here to check out the channel and subscribe!

Blog Bio.

Founded on July 29, 2010 by Alycia "Lycie Gee" Grier, "Blah," she said started out as a typical blog about nothing other than her life. Starting college, Lycie thought having a blog would be good documentation of how her new life was starting out. Beginning with simple topics like failing drivers tests and expensive bus fare, she realized that the blog was starting to have a negative feel, but wasn't sure how to change that. Until one day, while on Facebook, a friend had suggested that she write about an upcoming artist that needed some promotion. Having a blog and needing a topic, Lycie happily agreed once listening to their music. The post about Lamar Jay had given a whole new wave of publicity, and produced a different motive for the blog.

Soon after noticing the stats of the blog skyrocket from the post, Lycie started to research more great music, like that of FAMxBIZ, and Blaq Diamondz, and got a steady flow of the direction that the blog was going in. "Blah," she said turned into a musical reference blog, and developed a much different feel than it had with the first post.

November 19, 2010 marks the day that the "Blah," she said fanpage was created on Facebook. While creating the fanpage, the blog had already racked up 47 views prior. Since creating the fanpage, the blog has now had over 800 views, with regular readers and worldwide referrals.

After creating the fanpage, Lycie wanted to keep up the steady flow of the blog, and went on the search for more great music. Coming across the talent of Money Monroe, she found her next topic. Interviewing him for the blog, and featuring his music, created a business relationship between the two, and eventually a partnership was proposed. Jamaile "Money Monroe" Hampton soon became the co-administrator for the blog, and now shares the ownership of the blog entirely.

Over the course of just a few months, the blog has developed from nothing, to say the least, to an artistic atmosphere. Lycie and Jamaile are currently discussing products and apparel for the blog, and working on developing a marketing aspect for "Blah," she said.

This Month's Hottest!

Side Note ;

Popular Posts are automatically rated by individual post views, highest to lowest; not by our own personal rating. These views are generated by "link clicks" from external sites, and also the blog itself. So, basically, you decide what's hot and what's not.
